The provision of IPS and UPS PPM, repairs, reactive call-outs and battery replacement services for the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the most successful teaching NHS Trusts in the country, with 17 725 staff, 1 500 acute beds, 62 operating theatres over seven main sites and community services serving a population of up to 3 000 000 people. This prior information notice has been published to commence an information gathering exercise by the Trust who are seeking to establish a single provider contract for the provision of IPS and UPS planned preventative maintenance, repairs, reactive call-outs and battery replacement services and would like to engage with potential providers with relevant service delivery experience in consideration of the following system information and a required 4-hour call-out response time. The Trust has 74 IPS Systems (manufactured by Bender UK) which include dual and single units, with 23 associated UPS units of varying capacity and manufacture.
