Eden District Council wishes to commission an integrated and holistic suite of housing needs services, that can provide information, advice, assistance and support to people who wish to apply for social rented housing and/or homelessness assistance. The local authority is looking for bids that can demonstrate creativity and innovation. We’re also keen to receive submissions that can build capacity by attracting additional investment. The provision is required throughout the local authority area of Eden; including but not limited to, the market town of Penrith. Eden District Council intends to enter into a contractual arrangement for the supply of housing allocation and homelessness functions, from April 2020 onwards for a period of ten years. Only one contract will be awarded for the entire range of services being tendered. This will be awarded to a single supplier, or a consortium of suppliers. Keywords: Housing, Homelessness
