Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and Leeds CCGs Mental Health Helpline Service

Tender description

NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG acting on behalf of Greater Huddersfield, North Kirklees, Calderdale, Wakefield and Leeds CCGs is seeking to commission a 24 hour, 365 days/year Mental Health helpline service from 1st January 2020. The helpline will provide an important role in supporting individuals who are at risk of developing mental health problems, those individuals with diagnosed common mental health problems, those individuals known to mental health services experiencing mental health distress and/or those seeking information, advice and support. The Helpline Service will enable individuals to receive advice, information and guidance, they will respond to urgent concerns and will operate within a recovery model ensuring callers' benefit from an effective intervention. The service will complement the total provision of mental health services, within the identified geographic areas, working in collaboration with key partners and integrated within service pathways. NB: At this time this is a market testing exercise.
