Wellbeing Services in the Community - Information Event for Providers

Invitation to provider engagement session to learn more about the commissioning intentions for Community Based Wellbeing Services in Kent. Kent County Council are in the process of designing Community Based Wellbeing Services which are intended to deliver preventative services for vulnerable Kent residents, including older people, people living with dementia, people with a physical disability, people with sensory impairments and carers. These services will help prevent or delay deterioration in people’s health and wellbeing and help to manage demand for statutory health and social care services. Commissioners are holding an engagement session with service providers to share information on the commissioning process at the following time and venue: Monday 28th October 2019, at 2pm in the Lecture Theatre, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ. If you would like to attend, please email Katherine.clark@kent.gov.uk to request a place by Thursday 24th October. Please ensure you put “Wellbeing Engagement Session” as the email subject heading and provide the names and contact details (must include email address) of the attendee(s). Places is limited to two attendees per provider, and places will be confirmed via email. Kent County Council is currently carrying out a public consultation regarding these services.
