Tender description

The works comprise external works at Tobar Park, Cullybackey. These consist of three main elements which will include the following works: a) Construction of a replacement play area in the vicinity of the existing children’s play area. This will require the demolition of the existing facility, earthworks, refurbishment of two pieces of play equipment, land drainage, concrete kerbs, supply and installation of play equipment, street furniture and boundary railings, bitmac surfacing, feature concrete paving, EPDM rubber safety surfacing and in laid graphics, a post installation inspection by a ROSPA approved Play Area Inspector b) Construction of a Polymeric rubber MUGA (Multi Use Games Area). This will require excavation and earthworks, land drainage, concrete kerbs, supply and installation of boundary fencing, basketball goal and street furniture, feature concrete paving, bitmac surfacing, Polymeric rubber surfacing with a coloured anti slip surface, sports line markings and grass reinstatement. c) Construction of a new pedestrian / cycleway / maintenance access to the Play Area and MUGA. This will act as the construction access to the site in the first instance. Works will include excavation and earthworks, land drainage, concrete kerbs, bitmac works, provision of removable bollards and bicycle stands.
