The Client (UKAEA) seeks to create a better understanding of the history of alloy development in titanium (Ti) alloys, the likely performance of Ti alloys in a fusion environment and the lessons learned from Ti that might apply to zirconium (Zr) alloy development. The successful Consultant will be selected by the Client to write a review in these areas with clear concluding recommendations for research opportunities going forward.
