Specialist Family & Carer Support Service for those affected by someone else's Drug and/or Alcohol Misuse

Tender description

Specialist support service for carers and family members over the age of 18 years, including grandparents of people who misuse substances and as a consequence have been affected by their substance misuse. The service will be readily available from a variety of locations and venues within the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees. It is expected that the service will operate from one-fixed premises, with outreach facilities available meeting the needs of the client group where possible. (Venues and opening times to be agreed and in consultation with clients). The service should provide a drop-in facility offering immediate support and counselling in time of crisis. The service will provide home visits and attendance at crisis intervention situations where necessary.
