Tender description

The contract is for a preferred provider to enter into a contractual arrangement for the Provision of Female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) beds to meet the identified needs for the population in the Kent and Medway area. Data shows that KMPT has a need to provide for up to 7 female PICU beds at any one time; for patients who meet the core Criteria. However, it varies; hence the procurement is in two parts: • Part 1 - 5 Female PICU Block Beds • Part 2 - 2 Cost per volume Female PICU beds. Providers can bid for either part 1 or 2 or for both parts of the procurement exercise. The expectation is that, this will be a time limited contract with set reviews and a potential to roll over on a 12 month basis. Keywords: PICU
