The iABC-consortium (inhaled Antibiotics in Bronchiectasis and Cystic fibrosis) brings together world leading researchers to develop new antibiotic treatment options for people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and Bronchiectasis (BE), by sharing expertise and resources. The iABC program provides a unique opportunity to address a critical bottleneck in the development of antimicrobial agents for the treatment of chronic lung infection in CF and BE patients. This work has the potential to deliver new treatments which will improve quality of life and survival of CF and BE patients. As part of this program, Queens University Belfast seeks to appoint an Economic Operator to provide services to conduct liposomal formulation of a peptide for inhalation sponsored by Polyphor Ltd.
