Tender description

Health Education England (North West) (HEE (NW)) is seeking a Higher Education Institution (HEI), either individual or in consortium, to deliver a modular medical education and leadership development programme that is accredited as a postgraduate qualification at masters level, and which will allow progression routes for individuals who wish to develop further in medical education and/or medical leadership. HEE (NW) will fund on an annual basis up to 600 higher specialty trainees to undertake a module that provides the trainee with the knowledge and skills required to be a competent clinical supervisor and an effective leader. The programme should include progression options for students who may wish to continue with their academic studies. The HEI will be required to provide a range of services as described below. In their tender submission bidders are required to describe their approach to meeting each requirement with evidence of competency where necessary. Method statements: — detailed breakdown of the programme structure and curriculum content, — details on the methods of delivery, including the proportion and amount in hours of face to face delivery, — assessment methodology, — detailed administrative and data management processes, — detailed organization ability to cater for the wide range of students, — detailed processes for obtaining student feedback, — how your organization will incorporate appropriate medical input into course delivery.
