Market Engagement Questionnaire for Offenders and Substance Misuse Housing Related Support

North Yorkshire County Council Health and Adult Services currently commissions the above services. Offenders Housing Related Support Service The main aim of this countywide service is to provide housing related support services for high and medium level risk offenders supervised by the National Probation Service (NPS) or Humberside, Lincolnshire & North Yorkshire Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC), or people at risk of offending, to access suitable accommodation or remain in their own homes, reduce the risk of re-offending, avoid eviction and homelessness and to reduce the need for more intensive support. The service will provide supported accommodation under a property management arrangement (and potentially in a floating support setting) for a period of up to a maximum of 2 years. The service will also provide short term focussed support / triage interventions. Substance Misuse Housing Related Support Service The main aim of this Harrogate based service is to provide short-term accommodation and support for those accessing adult substance misuse services, who are homeless (or at risk of becoming homeless) in North Yorkshire. The service is intended to support people who have achieved some progress in addressing their substance misuse and require a stable place to live in order to support long-term recovery. Referrals will be accepted for anyone resident in the North Yorkshire Local Authority Area, although priority will be given to those with a local connection to the Harrogate area. In both instance the maximum duration of support for each individual accessing the Services is two years.
