Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council requires accommodation with support services within Edinburgh for men and women, aged 18+, who complex needs including a mental health diagnosis and who have previously lived in long-term hospital accommodation. The City of Edinburgh Council requires to award contracts for the provision of accommodation with support for individuals who have complex issues including related to their mental health. Individuals being referred to the service are more than likely to be assessed as being Grades 4 and 5 on the attached Wayfinder PSP Model Overview of Threshold Grades. Services required are housing support and care and support services which are registered with the care inspectorate and if required must possess a House of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) licence. A variety of types of accommodation may be required for example, single occupancy, core and cluster and those requiring Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMO). Providers will be required to submit housing benefit applications and manage service user(s) funds. The needs of the client groups are outlined in the attached Wayfinder grading document. Contracts will be awarded as required in a phased approach. Provision is required across all localities within City of Edinburgh. This PIN will be open until 30.3.2018 and completed ESPD and initial proposals will be acknowledged throughout the term of this PIN. Peer support for people with mental health problems.
