Tender description

The Community and Voluntary Sector (CVS) are key partners for the Council in meeting the challenge of rising demand for services in the context of increasingly limited resources. Council investment in the sector is highly valued for the range of support services that are funded in this way to meet the needs of people in the district. In 2015 the Council launched a prospectus approach to awarding funding to the CVS. Considered to have been successful in its delivery the Council has now taken a decision to refresh and publish for the second time a Community and Voluntary Sector Prospectus for 2020 – 2023. The prospectus approach is intended to provide a fair, transparent and accessible procurement process that is appropriate for the sector. Cross cutting in its approach the 2020 – 2023 round seeks to build on the achievements and learning of the first round, with a further three years of funding to promote enterprise, innovation and social value.
