Tender description

The Council is seeking tender responses for annual insurance policies for a longterm agreement for 4,5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The contract will commence on 1.4.2020. The tender covers eight (8) lots comprising of the following: Lot 1: Liability: 1 260 000 GBP; Lot 2: Fidelity Guarantee: 135 000 GBP; Lot 3: Motor Fleet: 135 000 GBP; Lot 4: Engineering: 315 000 GBP; Lot 5: Personal Accident/Travel and Schools offsite 45 000 GBP; Lot 6: Computers: 27 000 GBP; Lot 7: Terrorism: 630 000 GBP; Lot 8: Greener Ealing: 2 250 000 GBP. All insurers must be at least ‘A-’ rated by standard and poor's (or equivalent) and/or approved by the JLT market security committee, otherwise their submission will be automatically rejected. You are invited to submit tender responses for all or any individual lot(s). Liability Insurance excluding broker services. This lot incorporates the following classes of business: — employers liability, — public liability (including Libel and Slander), — officials indemnity (including land charges and public health act), — professional indemnity, — hirer’s liability. Fidelity guarantee insurance (excluding broker services). Motor fleet insurance (excluding broker services). This lot incorporates the following classes of business: — motor fleet. Engineering inspection and insurance (excluding broker services). Lot 6 incorporates the following classes of business: — engineering insurance, — engineering inspection. NB: Bids may be rejected if they do not provide for both the engineering insurance and the inspection service. Whilst it would be acceptable for the bid to be combined one by two separate providers, bids may also be rejected if the bid in respect of the insurance aspect is via a broker (or other intermediary third party) that is not party to the bid submission. Group personal accident, travel and schools offsite Insurance (excluding broker services). This lot incorporates the following classes of business: — personal accident, — business travel, — schools offsite. Computer insurance (excluding broker services). Terrorism insurance (excluding broker services). This Lot incorporates the following classes of business: — terrorism cover. Please note: A quotation to include terrorism insurance via Pool Re is not required. The Council request bidders under Lot 8 to submit loss limit quotations. Suite of insurances for greener ealing (excluding broker services). This lot incorporates the following classes of business: — employers liability, — public and products liability, — officials indemnity, — professional indemnity, — fidelity guarantee, — motor fleet, — PA/Travel, — computer.
