Hafod properties electrical safety is managed by Hafod Property Services (HPS), the internal labour team of the organisation. However due to expanding number of properties the capacity of HPS is unable to deliver this service in its entirety. To cover this shortfall Hafod are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and experienced contractor to carry out electrical safety testing and potential arising works of Hafod Housing Association dwellings forecast to be beyond the capacity of HPS. This requirement covers a number of locations across South Wales including, but not limited to, the below area’s: — Cardiff, — Newport, — Torfaen, — Merthyr Tydfil, — Rhondda Cynon Taff, — Bridgend, — Vale of Glamorgan. The primary purpose of the contract will be to deliver electrical safety testing. Works requirements identified through safety tests may be issued to the bidder at the sole discretion of Hafod and in such an event will be in line with the rates and specifications tendered in response to this opportunity. Bidders will be required to submit a fixed schedule of rates to complete the works, to include all preliminary costs with provisional sums clearly identified.
