Demolition, site preparation and clearance work

Tender description

The works consist of the demolition and removal of the existing Milewater Road Offices and Workshops (and associated outbuildings) situated on Duncrue Street, Belfast. and the 2nd part of this project is the demolition of 10 nr retail units at Abbey Trading Centre, Longwood Road, Newtownabbey. Both sites are vacant. The contractor is to note that this demolition project is Phase 1 of a multi phased project to address safety issues through Translink’s estate. The contracting authority reserves the option to undertake the remaining phases of demolition which is of a similar scope to the work set out in the contract. Existing tendered rates will be used where possible to negotiate the price for this additional work. The estimated remaining phases are in the region of 2 000 000 GBP.
