CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT CASTLEWELLAN ROAD, NEWCASTLE

Tender description

The Contract is for the construction of 11 new social housing dwellings together with associated site development and engineering works. All the units built under this contract must have ‘Secured By Design’ and ‘Lifetime Homes’ accreditation. The housing mix is as follows: 10 no 5-Person/3-Bedroom 2-storey semidetached houses, 1 no 4-person/3-Bedroom detached complex needs bungalow. It is anticipated that a new cul-de-sac road with a turning head will be constructed to run from Burren Park parallel to Castlewellan Road to give access all the new dwellings. Each dwelling will have its own on-site parking. The contract period will be approximately 18 months from date of award and is scheduled to start before the end of March 2020.
