2x Outreach Workers

As part of Serious Violence / Violence Reduction grant award work by the Deputy Mayor to all Community Safety Partnerships in Greater Manchester, Trafford Council would like to commission a provider to provide 2x Outreach Workers for 3 days a week after school hours (roughly 14:00 to 22:00 hrs) for a total period of 26 weeks to contribute to the work of Trafford Council’s Youth Engagement Service’s detached team. Whilst working alongside the council’s internal teams, these workers will provide an alternative, community based presence for young people (sitting outside of the public sector) enabling them to build trusted relationships and work towards change. Delivery will involve assertive outreach including targeted and positive diversionary activities for young people. Request For Quotation will be issued shortly which will provide further details.
