Tender description

The Future Capability Group seeks to understand industry readiness and capability to provide an autonomous UAS system that can be applied to a GFX UAS in order for it to autonomously take off and land from a sea borne vessel and enable station over a moving target to allow for easier identification in the water as part of a larger man overboard (MOB) autonomous recovery system. This information will be used for information only to scope a potential multi-year MINERVA programme. The MINERVA programme will bring together an GFX UAS, an autonomous flight system, a person in water identification system and raft deployment to create a fully autonomous man overboard recovery system to create a system that can deploy automatically in tune to a MOB alarm, locate, deploy a raft and maintain position over the MOB for ease of location. This PIN is interested in information pertaining to the MOB Auto Take-off and Landing & Station Keeping system.
