Tender description

Calderdale Council intends to employ a contractor to undertake the collection and/or receiving, keeping, treating and/or disposal of approximately 5 000-7 000 tonnes of street sweepings waste and gulley waste per annum. The waste will be bulked up at 3 sites throughout the Borough, for collection by the appointed contractor, and requires the option for the Authority to be able to deliver the waste to a delivery point provided by the appointed contractor. The tonnage figure is for guidance only and may rise or fall in the current and future years. It is also the intention of the authority to comply with the waste hierarchy as much as possible.
