Castle Rock Edinvar undertakes asbestos surveys when properties become void and in advance of any capital works. These form an ongoing survey programme. There is an annual requirement for a small number of ad-hoc surveys to accommodate reactive works and maintenance. In addition to the ongoing surveys there is a separate legacy data project to survey a defined list of domestic properties. In addition to the ongoing surveys there is a separate legacy data project to survey a defined list of domestic properties. These properties are to be surveyed using the full house Management Survey. In accordance with the HSE Asbestos Survey Guide HSG264 there are 2 different types of surveys: — management surveys, — refurbishment and demolition (R&D) surveys. The contract is for an initial 31 month period from 1.9.2019-31.3.2022. There is the option to extend the contract for 2 further 12 month periods beyond 31.3.2022 for the ongoing planned and reactive surveys.
