Dover and Folkestone and Hythe District Councils are seeking to appoint a contractor for the provision of waste collection, recycling and street cleansing services throughout the districts from January 2021 for an 8 year period. Completed standard selection questionnaires (SQQ's) must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk by no later than 17.00 on the 30.10.2019. Dover and Folkestone and Hythe District Councils are working together to provide common efficient and effective waste collection, recycling and street cleansing services from January 2021. The contract will include the following services: — household residual waste collection, — household food waste collection, — household dry recycling collection, — household garden waste collection, — bulk waste collection, — clinical waste collection, — street cleansing services (including high speed roads).
