Provision of Missing from Care Return Interviews

Background Every Local Authority has a statutory responsibility to ensure that all children aged up to 18 years who run away or go missing from home or care are offered a return interview when they are found / return home. Talkshop, based at our Sale Waterside offices, delivers return interviews to Trafford children and young people within a broad 15 mile radius of Sale Waterside but currently also for those placements further afield. Aims & Requirements We would like to commission a provider to deliver return interviews for our children and young people placed in external independent provision beyond the Talkshop radius stated above. The provider will be expected to travel to the young person’s placement wherever that may be in the country and do so in a timely fashion to enable completion of the interview within the 72 hour timescale.
