Tender description

Babcock DSG Ltd, acting as agent for the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to negotiate a contract with Cook Defence Systems Ltd for the supply of Armoured Vehicle Track and Ancillaries. It is considered that this contract can be awarded using the Negotiated Procedure Without Prior Publication pursuant to Article 28(1) (e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011) for technical reasons. The UK Ministry of Defence requirement is for the supply of track and ancillaries for AS90, BRV, Bulldog, BV206, Challenger 2, CRARRV, CVRT, Terrier, Titan, Trojan, Viking and Warrior (WR2 Spec) and associated items this requirement is to facilitate the refurbishment and regeneration of the current fleets. The requirements will be met by way of placing a framework agreement and subject to the advertised contract value.
