Tender description

This PIN is issued to provide information to the market of the forthcoming tender opportunity for the supply of bulk and cylinder gases to the NDA Group. A number of the NDA's Nuclear Licenced Sites require the continued supply of bulk and cylinder gases, upon conclusion of the existing contract arrangements (expires June 2020). It is anticipated that a request for quotation (RFQ) to cover the scope of this procurement (detailed within Section II.2.4)) will be issued to the market in November 2019. This procurement will be governed by the EU procurement directives and a contract notice will be advertised to the market via tenders electronic daily (TED) and contracts finder. Sellafield Ltd is this conducting this collaborative competition on behalf of the following organisations: 1) Direct Rail Services Ltd; 2) Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd; 3) LLW Repository Ltd; 4) Magnox Ltd; 5) National Nuclear Laboratory Ltd; 6) Sellafield Ltd. The scope incorporates the supply of bulk and cylinder gases to various participating entities from within the NDA Group. The supply will include bulk Argon, Nitrogen and Oxygen. The supply will also include the supply of cylinder gases including a wide range of standard and specialist gas, in various sizes of cylinders.
