Tender description
Tenders are sought for the hire of a Business Development/Commercialisation Specialist to advise how best to exploit the business opportunity for a Stage 1 Breast Cancer Detections system (Cothrom) being developed in UL. University of Limerick are building a breast cancer detection system that uses Machine learning to semi-automate breast cancer screening and require a commercialisation / business consultant. The team, in collaboration with Cork University Hospital, are building a prototype that will be used in a small scale trial and require a commercialisation specialist to assist with all commercial aspects of the project, such as competitor analysis, recruitment of trial participants, regulatory and approval considerations, assistance with IP searches, interfacing with suitable Venture Capitalists and preparing an investor-ready presentation of the results, commercial landscape and plans for spinning out from the University.
