Tender description

In accordance with safety-critical Diving Standards Improvement Notice 01/17, NCHQ requires the provision and on-going support of 150-450 Hand Warming Systems (HWS). The Hand Warming System is required to maintain hand temperatures when divers are conducting medium intensity work in water of -2oC to 15 oC. It needs to operate under a wet system. At -2oC, the battery system should not exceed 7VDC and have a battery life of 4.5 hours. It would be helpful if the batteries do not have to be removed and pressure seals broken for re-charging and that they are chargeable from 110 V and 240 V systems. It should be capable of undertaking back to back missions with minimal maintenance. A 2 year warranty would be required for these products.
