Tender description
A requirement exists, , for (i) the recovery and onward provision of tissue samples collected from selected specimens during the existing catch sampling at sea programme led by the Marine Institute, and (ii) the recovery and standardised necropsy of a targeted sample of stranded cetaceans (i.e., whales, dolphins and porpoises) with associated Case History reporting in two geographical Lots The requirement for services is divided in 2 geographic Lots as follows (see figure 1 and section 4): Lot 1 = Coastal areas of Counties Donegal to County Clare inclusive; Lot 2 = Coastal areas of Counties Kerry to south County Wexford inclusive A detailed technical description is available in the attached Invitation to Tender document.
