For the supply of audiological implantable devices and associated accessories, consumables, maintenance and repair. Products include Cochlear, Bone Conduction Hearing, Middle Ear and Auditory Brainstem Implants. Bone conduction Hearing Implants (BCHI) in Lot 2 is one of the high cost tariff excluded devices under the NHS England HCTED programme. NHS Supply Chain/ Heath Solutions Team (HST) operating on behalf of Supply Chain Coordination Ltd (SCCL) is the mandated route for the HCTED programme, and trusts who are commissioned to provide this service are directed to purchase all their requirements through NHS Supply Chain. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 36 208 626 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Cochlear implants, cochlear implant sound processors, electric acoustic stimulation audio processors, electric acoustic stimulation implants, cochlear implant surgical equipment, cochlear implant accessories and consumables, maintenance and repair. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 20 208 000 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 15 740 000 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. A Device Working Group (DWG) has been formed to develop a clinical device specification for Bone Conduction Hearing Implants to optimise device choice, reduce unwarranted variation, enhance patient outcomes, improve value and deliver savings. The group’s members consist of surgeons, audiologists and patient representatives. In order to produce a robust, clinical device specification and inform the procurement route, Suppliers are invited to submit details of their current and future BCHI Systems using the Device Notification Form (DNF). Please see Section VI.3) Additional Information for further details. Please note at this stage we do not require prices or finished products, as detailed in the “HCTED Methods Building Device Specification” document. Suppliers who submit a completed DNF will be invited to a face to face meeting to present their products to the DWG, the date will be confirmed in due course via the Intenda Messaging Centre. Further details will be issued to all Applicants who express interest in the PIN in January/Febuary 2019. Middle ear implants, middle ear sound processors, middle ear device surgical equipment, middle ear implant accessories, consumables, maintenance and repair. Precise quantities are unknown.
