Tender description
Westminster City Council (“The Authority”) is looking to develop a new way of working by implementing a local approach to the delivery of front-line services tailored to the needs of our communities. The Effective Neighbourhood Working (ENW) programme will define and implement a neighbourhood approach for the Authority’s street based officers, where services are delivered locally and are tailored to the need of the community. One of the key principles of mobile working is that any officer should have direct access to a list of the duties and tasks that they need to perform on a particular shift. This would enable them to structure their workday by presenting a task list with a summary level of all tasks that need completing and offer the ability to interrogate each task further for more information should this be required. This will then enable the officer to complete their inspection on their mobile device. This will encompass a wider set of parameters and data sets, such as but not limited to shift patterns, skills set, geographical location, priority rating to provide an automated, workflow orientated solution to be used across the Authority’s Services.
