Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process for the proposed tender for the Supply and Delivery of Concrete Sleeper Components, namely ; • LOT 1 “Split nuts” or similar products from cold drawn free cutting steel (22mm Hex Bar) to the following specification: DIN 1 651:1970 9S Mn 28K Material No. 1.07 15.07 • LOT 2 “Bell” washers or similar products to the following specification: DD13 (EN10111) Continuously hot rolled low carbon steel sheet and strip for cold forming. or DC04 (EN10130) Cold rolled low carbon steel flat products for cold forming. • LOT 3 Steel “hairpin” bars or similar products from cold drawn and tempered high tensile steel to the following specification: EN10138-2-Y1570-10 (DIN4227 ST1375/1570) Companies can apply for one , two or all three lots. Please note – The thread detail for items 1 & 3 are the intellectual property of P-Tec International GmbH and may only be used under licence. The design for item 2 is the intellectual property of P-Tec International GmbH and may only be used under licence Contracts will be for a three year term with the option to extend annually for up to two additional years.
