School Aged Immunisation Service for Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden and GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England (Public Health, North Midlands) are inviting suitably qualified providers to deliver a School Aged Immunisation Service in Shropshire (including Telford and Wrekin). The contract is for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year. The contract start date will be 1st September 2019. The contract value is anticipated to be £400,000 per annum. Immunisations to be included are: • Meningococcal C (MenC) - containing vaccine (Meningitis ACWY) Immunisation Programme, Years 9 school cohort years. **This vaccine should be offered to older unimmunised school aged individuals who may self-refer** • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Immunisation Programme for girls, Years 8 and 9 school cohort years • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Immunisation Programme for boys, Years 8 and 9 school cohort years • TD/IPV (Teenage Booster) Immunisation Programme, Years 9 school cohort years. **This vaccine should be offered to older unimmunised school aged individuals who may self-refer** • Seasonal influenza immunisation programme for children (AGE) Reception to Year 6 school cohort years • Possible MMR Catch up cohort programme to support the national strategy on elimination of MMR
