CWM Environmental Ltd currently controls around 28 000 tonnes per annum of Contract Waste. CWM is looking to enter into a contract for the management of its Contract Waste. CWM Environmental Ltd currently controls around 28 000 tonnes per annum of Contract Waste. CWM is looking to enter into a contract for the management of its Contract Waste. CWM is looking for a Contract Waste solution that will meet the following key requirements: (a) minimise annual spend on Contract Waste treatment and disposal; (b) provide a reliable, robust means of managing Contract Waste from May 2019; (c) manage all of CWM’s Contract Waste; (d) be flexible as regards to changes in tonnage or composition of Contract Waste resulting from future changes; (e) be flexible in scope of waste managed, to include, by prior agreement, acceptance of additional tonnage from commercial and industrial sources and/or waste from a neighbouring Authority; (f) minimise the environmental impact of waste treatment and disposal; (g) maximise the recycling diverted from the Contract Waste; and (h) comply with all relevant current and future legislation. CWM will not consider solutions which involve disposal of Contract Waste to landfill, either as the main or contingency solution.
