NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board wish to inform the market that they intend to award a contract for the supply and installation for the provision of replacement Protec fire alarm panels at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) for a one off purchase. Protec are the only supplier capable of supplying and installing the replacement Fire Alarm panels at UHW as it is a bespoke closed protocol system and only Protec are able to manufacture the fire alarm panels to keep the system operational so that the Health Board complies with the British Standard and Health and Safety at work act.
