Mediation Training

Tender description

There is a need for trained "accredited mediators" in order to support the Schools of the London Borough of Enfield. A 40-hour, 6 day, ILM endorsed programme that is also recognised by the College of Mediators and the Civil mediation Council. The training should comprise a high-quality mediation intervention for a range of complex and difficult disputes and result in accreditation- including informal and formal stages of grievance, complaints and bullying & harassment procedures. Participants should learn robust process, gain expertise in mediation, negotiation, problem solving and facilitation, as well as active listening, communication and reframing skills. It should also include handling impasse, strong emotion and challenging behaviour. The 6-day course should involve heavy interactivity and role plays.
