Management Information System for Adult Community Learning

Tender description

Essex County Council (ECC) is carrying out a soft market testing exercise to explore potential future options for the provision of a student management information system (MIS) for use by ECC's Adult Community Learning (ACL) service. ECC currently uses a MIS to manage learners, courses, tutors, room bookings, exams, electronic registers, accounting, reporting and analysis. ECC is exploring options ahead of a potential re-procurement of a MIS later this year. Interested suppliers will be invited to attend a meeting with ECC's project team in Chelmsford between Mon 25th and Thurs 28th Feb 2019. The objective of the meeting will be for ECC to understand the market and potential options available, which will help inform the final specification for a procurement process. Further details will be provided to invited suppliers before the meeting.
