Tender description

Translink has recently reviewed its procurement strategy for operational electronic railway management requirements. It is intended that a consolidated Electronic Railway Management (ERM) contract be established with the aim of achieving the following: — delivery of efficient and effective responsive services, — delivery of significant cost savings, — flexibility to meet individual business needs and changing requirements. The proposed soft ERM areas for inclusion in this contract are: — timetable planning, — train and crew diagramming, — crew rostering, — fleet management, — dynamic fleet allocation, — dynamic service monitoring, — dynamic alteration of plan, — CIS/LLPA, — integration with other systems. It is anticipated that this contract will commence on 1.11.2019. Before embarking on a tender process, we wish to engage with the market place to gather intelligence which will inform the sourcing strategy for this contract and thus, the procurement process. We are therefore seeking to engage with experienced ERM providers, which are capable of fulfilling all of the requirements listed above.
