Tender description

NHS England (Public Health, North Midlands) is intending to commission a school aged immunisation service in Shropshire (including Telford and Wrekin). The contract is for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year. The contract start date will be 1.9.2019. The contract value is anticipated to be 400 000 GBP per annum. NHS England are intending to commission a Single Immunisation Provider (SIP) for the immunisation of school-aged children in Shropshire (including Telford and Wrekin). The immunisations to be included are: — Meningococcal C (MenC) — containing vaccine (Meningitis ACWY) immunisation programme, years 9 school cohort years. “This vaccine should be offered to older unimmunised school aged individuals who may self-refer”, — Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) immunisation programme for girls, years 8 and 9 school cohort years, — Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) immunisation programme for boys, years 8 and 9 school cohort years, — TD/IPV (Teenage Booster) immunisation programme, years 9 school cohort years. “This vaccine should be offered to older unimmunised school aged individuals who may self-refer”, — seasonal influenza immunisation programme for children (AGE) reception to year 6 school cohort years, — possible MMR catch up cohort programme to support the national strategy on elimination of MMR.
