Tender description

Middlesbrough Council is inviting interested stakeholders to participate in consultation on a proposed new approach to commissioning services for people with needs around Homelessness, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence and abuse. Our vision is to improve the lives of people with needs around Homelessness, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence and abuse, through remodelling and reviewing services and by joining up provision. Our proposal is to integrate services to reduce the number of contracts we currently commission which could see these services, brought together to help and support people in a more joined up way. By bringing together a range of services, service users would receive consistent standards of support and it would be possible to identify areas of good practice and roll this out across all areas, to drive up performance and quality where necessary. We would like to hear your views which will help us determine the future service model. The Council seeks to ensure that people affected by Homelessness, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence and abuse experience integrated and joined up support. As our current contractual arrangements for these services are coming to an end we are now seeking to establish future commissioning arrangements.
