Tender description

The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS foundation Trust is acting on behalf of the following Trusts to find a solution for the provision of Enteral Feeds, Feeding Pumps, Consumables and Home Delivery Service. The participating Trusts are: — University Hospitals Birmingham NHS FT (including Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, Solihull Hospital and Solihull Community Services), — Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS FT, — Birmingham Community Healthcare, — Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS FT, — Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, — Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, — Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. This exercise will be split over 5 lots, and can be awarded in a number of difference configurations. The objective of the Lot 1 Tender is to establish an Enteral Feedings Service for the acute and community requirements of the listed NHS entities. The requirements include the provision of all enteral tube feeds, sips and supplements, pump equipment, home care delivery services, nursing and community support associated with the provision of an enteral feeding service. The objective of the Lot 2 Tender is to contract with Suppliers who are able to supply enteral feeding tubes and devices (hereby referred to as “ancillaries”) to Hospital sites and patients in community settings. If awarded, this Lot will be let on a multi-supplier basis. The objective of the Lot 3 Tender is to establish an Enteral Feedings Service for the acute and community requirements of the listed NHS entities. The requirements include the provision of all enteral tube feeds, sips and supplements, pump equipment, home care delivery services, consumables, nursing and community support associated with the provision of an enteral feeding service. The successful bidder will also be expected to provide any 3rd party ancillaries as part of their service. The objective of the Lot 4 Tender is to establish an Enteral Feedings Service for the acute and community requirements of the listed NHS entities. The requirements include the provision of all enteral tube feeds, sips and supplements, pump equipment, home care delivery services. The objective of the Lot 5 Tender is to establish an Enteral Feedings Service for the acute and community requirements of the listed NHS entities. The requirements include the provision of all enteral tube feeds, sips and supplements, pump equipment, home care delivery services. The successful bidder will also be expected to provide any 3rd party ancillaries as part of their service.
