Employer Engagement Partnership (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

Tender description

The Local Authority seeks to establish and sustain an Employer Engagement Partnership on behalf of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Bradford District. The Local Authority is seeking providers with expertise in this field who can: Set up an Employer Engagement Partnership up across a 12 month period, with a focus on increasing the number of Supported Internships available to young people with SEND; Establish relationships with new and existing employers on behalf of Bradford District with a view to increasing the range of work placement and employment opportunities available to young people with SEND; Coach a member of staff from the Local Authority for one day per week, with the objective of ensuring that the Local Authority is able to successfully manage the Employer Engagement Partnership at the end of the 12 month period; Secure the sustainability of the Employer Engagement Partnership by ensuring that Bradford District is in a good position to maintain the partnership going forward.
