Tender description

A Framework Agreement to provide catering services at planned public events such as Reading Festival, Royal Ascot and football matches, and "internal" events from small scale to large operations and investigations. The framework is split into various lots based on location, size and value of requirement. To provide a suitable “pool” of pre-qualified contractors capable for the provision of event catering services for this region. For “Minor Planned” projects up to 10 000 GBP we will create an approved list of 4 contractors with an option to direct award for requirements or hold a mini competition. Bidders with the highest score in the respective lot will be awarded a place on the framework for that lot. Catering requirements for this lot will involve small scale operations that require onsite feeding (e.g Reading Festival). For ordered catering requirements up to 10 000 GBP we will create an approved list of 4 contractors. Bidders with the highest score in the respective lot will be awarded a place on the framework for that lot. Ordered catering requirements: Breakfast/lunch/dinner trays, buffets, refreshments. Large scale “planned” operation catering requirement will require onsite feeding (e.g. Royal weddings) For “Unplanned” projects up to and over 50 000 GBP “unplanned” we will create an approved list of 4 Contractors. Bidders with the highest score in the respective lot will be awarded a place on the framework for that lot. This lot will be unplanned catering requirements to feed operation staff with less than 5 days’ notice (e.g. Donald Trump visiting UK). One contractor to provide all off site catering requirements from (£0-50k).
