Tender description

Defra's contribution is directly geared towards setting up the London Air Quality Monitoring supersite. Defra has worked very closely with NERC to shape and influence a £4.3M capital investment for the supersites. Both Ministers and the Chief Scientific Adviser's Office consider this activity to be a very high priority. The site locations are driven by scientific value and practicality and so the choice of locations of the specialist monitoring equipment is extremely limited.
