The project is the installation of new boilers and associated services and the subsequent removal of existing boiler installations once new installations are commissioned and operational at the Existing Boiler House, Moray College UHI, Moray Street, Elgin, Moray, IV30 1JJ. The project is the installation of new boilers and associated services and the subsequent removal of existing boiler installations once new installations are commissioned and operational at the Existing Boiler House, Moray College UHI, Moray Street, Elgin, Moray, IV30 1JJ. The following outlines the extent of the mechanical services installations relating to this contract. The Contractor shall obtain, install, take delivery off where appropriate, test and commission the mechanical services systems as detailed below: — down-takings and strip out works, — hot and cold-water installation, — LTHW heating installation, — gas fired boiler supply and installation, — boiler flue specialist design, supply and installation, — building management system and controls specialist design, supply, and installation, — all testing and commissioning associated with the completed installation, — all builders work associated with the complete services installation. While the project is defined in phases the works comprise one contract with one commencement and one completion date. The required phasing of operations is defined in the works schedules and contract drawings. A new gas supply for the new installation will be arranged by the client and installed out with the contract prior to works commencing. The SBCC terms and conditions as referenced in this document shall prevail for the period of the contract.
