Scoping study: data management Agri-Envrionment Scheme Evidence Projects

Tender description

Work is required to evaluate the requirements for managing existing and future monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data generated for agri-environment schemes, and to suggest costed options for how datasets should be managed and the design and delivery of an interface to enable key datasets to be accessed for analysis. The aim should be for a non-expert user to be able to extract and display data in suitable formats e.g. spatial, graphical etc., and to conduct queries ranging from basic interrogation of individual datasets to defining complex queries for analysis of multiple attributes and/or datasets. The winning tenderer will evaluate current systems and approaches and explore likely requirements for managing and reporting using AES monitoring data with a range of stakeholder interests within Natural England and the Defra network. In delivering the project the contractor should identify solutions that are flexible and adaptable to potential future needs and can be accessed from as wide a range of platforms as possible (e.g. PC, tablet, phone).
