Fife Council is seeking a contractor for the provision of a replacement catering live system and nutmeg software. Supply and installation of a catering management solution. Fife Council (‘the Council’) seeks a contractor for the provision of a catering management solution. The current system, ‘Catering Live’ was developed in-house, approximately 14 years ago and no longer meets the changing needs of the service or supports new technology that could offer cost savings or better Council capabilities. The system is the service’s catering database which is used for financial purposes, performance monitoring and management information. The system is at ‘end of life’ and requires to be replaced. Alongside Catering Live, we utilise a hosted system ‘Nutmeg’, which nutritionally analyses recipes and menus. The project will identify and implement new technology that delivers streamlined processes that will provide more integration which will allow direct input, reducing the manual/paper processing that is currently required. Fife Council’s preferred strategy is to implement cloud solutions.
