Tender description
The scheme will entail clearing vegetation from existing masonry arch structure and power-washing all areas including arch barrel. Taking down damaged sections of parapet walls on downstream side. Repointing works in the arch barrel. Excavating for the new stone gabion baskets as shown on drawings. Pouring new foundations and building parapet walls to 1.25m above footpath. Repointing works to sections of parapet wall upstream side and spandrel walls upstream. Coping stones to be replaced on the upstream side parapet. New concrete rubbing strips to be constructed on the upstream side.
