Tender description

Powys County Council, lead commissioner on behalf of the Powys Carers Steering Group, has awarded a contract to a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to develop and arrange bespoke respite opportunities for young and adult carers with an assessed need, in an innovative and creative way. The Council invited bids from suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for specification for carers support project co-production of respite for children and adults in Powys. Providers were required to be registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) for the Powys regional area. The contract duration will be 2 years, the end of the contract period March 2021, subject to review of year 1 outcomes and ICF funding confirmation. The contract is dependent upon funding, and may terminate should funding be withdrawn. Tender for carers support project co-production of respite for young and adult carers.
