This is a prior information notice (PIN) for information only. It is not a formal invitation to tender. You will need to respond to the contract notice in order to be considered for this contract. The purpose of this PIN is to maximise transparency and competition for the upcoming contract notice. All details in this PIN are subject to being updated or changed in the final contract notice. The London Boroughs of Camden and Islington are considering tendering for mental health awareness and suicide prevention training services with a new contract expected to commence 1.4.2020. The contract period will be for a maximum of four (4) years and it is anticipated that the contract will be a tendered using the open procedure. Islington Council, on behalf of other partners including Camden Council and Camden CCG is looking to invite expressions of interest from suitable suppliers to provide the potential mental health awareness and suicide prevention training services. It is anticipated that the potential tender will comprise one lot although sub-contracting to deliver some or all of the contract requirements will be permitted. The elements sought by the potential tender include provision of: — mental health first aid training, — youth mental health first aid training, — mental health awareness training, — mental health awareness training for managers, — suicide prevention training. The proposed lifetime value of the contract is 620 000 GBP for the maximum four (4) years.
