Tender description

Consultants are to be invited to submit tenders for producing a River Axe Nutrient Management Plan. This plan will identify options and approaches to reduce nutrient levels entering the River Axe which is a river of significant nature conservation importance. Excess nutrient levels are having unacceptable adverse impacts on water quality and the absence of means to reduce nutrient levels may result in refusal of planning permission for proposed new development, specifically including a large scale strategic development site incorporating 850 new homes, to the east of Axminster.
